About Us

Fr. John J. Wenzel S.J. Council 10003 is located at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 5900 Buckwheat Road, Milford (Day Heights), Ohio. The participating Knights in our council are members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St Andrew Churches.

On March 5,1989 Fr. Wenzel Council was founded and chartered with 43 members. Our council is 97 members strong and looking to increase our membership to 115 over the next year.We invite all practicing Catholic men of our parishes, age 18 and older to join our ranks and take a more active role in their faith with us.

From the moment of our founding in 1882, charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. We are men of faith and men of action.

Last year alone, in addition to raising and donating more than $154 million to charitable needs and projects, Knights volunteered more than 70 million hours of their time to charitable causes. We undertake these acts of charity because we see those in need through the eyes of faith. Moreover, in the Knights of Columbus, we approach these acts of charity together. Pope Benedict XVI calls this the “practice of love…as a community.”

Imagine being part of an organization that fills your heart and your mind with the joy of giving to others and the feeling that comes with making a difference.

Knights are Catholic men who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practical Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who shall not be less than 18 years of age. A practical Catholic is in general, a man who regulates and lives his life according to the teaching of Christ and the Church, and endeavors to observe the commandments of God and of the Church.
